Clouds is an unreleased song by Imagine Dragons. It was first written in 2008, and went through a series of lyric revisions until 2010. The first part of the song is in A major, and the second part is in C major.
The earliest version and only studio recording of it is a demo from 2008 that was never released. The lyrics were then changed slightly, and the song was performed live in 2009 at a talent show. This performance was before their first official EP was released, but the song was not released on that EP. In 2010, the lyrics of the first half of the song were changed completely. This was the last revision to the song.
